Parrish of Monroe have returned from a two weeks' trip in sunny Florida, and find the sudden change; to weather below zero rather disagreeable. Florida is also suffering from a colder snap than usual and there is said to have been a heavy frost there. They visited nt Tampa. St. Petersburg and other noted cities. They also stopped off at Rome Georgia, where President Wilson met his late wife, was married, and where she was interred a few months ago. ...... SUDDEN DEATH A ——. ■— ■ Came to Mrs, Alexander Beall, Wife of Former Willshire Banker. {was ill three days Os Double Pneumonia—Fu- » neral Today—Friend of , Dugan Family. i Mrs. C. A. Dugan returned this afternoon from Willshire, Ohio, where today she attended the funeral of Mr-:. Alexander Beall, wife of the former banker of Willshire. Her death occurred suddenly last Wednesday at the home of her only child. Leah, wife 1 of Gerald Smith, of Vincennes, with ’ whom she had been living since het husband's death. She became ill only on Monday, developing double pneumonia. and her demise was very sudden, causing a great shock to all her friends. The body was brought back to Willshire, and burial took place m the cemetery where her husband war interred. She was a woman of very tine character and comparatively young, being only fifty-nine years of age. She was a talented musician, and a former instructor, active in church aud literary work, and on going to Willshire. Ohio, in her earlier life, assisted her husband in the bank there. She was a warm friend of thDugan family and often visited here. Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Smith, who will remain here for some time to settle up the estate, may visit here over Sundiy With the Dugan family. WANTS WORK—Girl wants house work to do.
