ABOUT THE SICK. I ■"■■l" " I Miss Vernla Smith went to Fort Wayne today noon, having received word tuat her mother, Mrs. ,1. A. Smith, who was operated upon nt the Lutheran hospital, is not so well. It is thought the change is not a serious one. Roy Wolford, rural mail carrier, Is quite ill at his home at Monmouth, of ulcers of the bowels. J. H. Sullivan, who has been sick the past week, is aomo better, as Is also Charles Smith, who has been sick for a month or more with dropsy and other ailments. —o ■ - LIKES IT AT ALBUQUERQUE, N. M. County Commissioner William Reppert is in receipt of a letter from Sam Yost, of near Pleasant Mills, the well known gravel road contractor, stating that he is now located at Albuquerque l N. M. He is well pleased with the place and the climate and will spend the winter there. Mr. Yost and son, Calvin, left here a week ago last Wednesday, going on account of Mr. Yost’s health. Mrs. Clarence Winters went to Ft. Wayne today noon. Jean Ireland of Van Wert, Ohio, was a business visitor here today, Mrs. J. H. Heller and Mrs. J. W. Tyndall returned last evening from a visit with friends in Fort Wayne.
