Martin worked at this office as usual this morning leaw.ig a few moments before twelve o’clock. When he had not returned at one o’clock the other employes mentioned it but supposed he would arrive soon and thought nothing more of it until a few minutes later when they were informed of his terrible act. A feeling of gloom was east over the work shop that refused to shake itself off this afternoon. Post Mortem Held. At three o’clock this afternoon Coroner Clark conducted an inquest at which were present Drs. C. S. Clark. H. F. Costello and E. G. Coverdale. The bullet entered the right temple just over the ear and went through the head, the brain protruding on the left side. So violent was the concussion that the entire top of the skull was lifted off There was a slight discoloration showing the revolver had been held close to the head. The verdict will not be returned for a day or two and until some further testimony is taken. Gay, Zwick & Myers have charge of the body. Q WILL BUILD NEW TRACKS. Ft. A younq man some years ago was offered a position as janitor of a large office building. He was allowed to sleep on the premises and later on arranged with a restaurant next door to help the proprietor during odd times and thereby got his meals free. The young fellow was therefore abl v to save everything he made, except a small sum each year for his clothing, and he got a good deal of that given to him by tenants of the building. Every dollar he could possibly save he kept in his Savings Account.. At night he studied and in a short time had mastered a profitable trade. Today that man owns the office building a few years ago he worked as janitor in.. Such are the Possibilities always before the man who saves.
