Owing to a tnix-up In the bookings I of "A Daughter of Pan," which was to >• l>e presented nt tho Lyric last evening
■the picture will appear tonight. This 'is one of the greatest three-reel pictures ever produced and with this wonderful picture. Fred LaDelle will appear in an act that will he a big surprise to his many friends as It will he a side-splitting comedy In which he will introduce his old songs of many years Fred Is like u great many other clever performers. He believes the comedy of years ago has better material for laughing purposes than the comedy of today. In the time of tin old one-ring circus Fred was considered the cleverest clown of the tented organisations. In these days a clown has to be a good cemedian with a good voice and popular songs. The clowns of today are just “muggers." make faces at the audience, do a few falls, hit with a slap-stick and chase each other on the hippodrome track, which Is funny to a few. but not to the old-timers, who know what real comedy is. Fred has been digging deep into his trunk and has managed to find nough comedy to supply several < irruses and will open a new i.ox of it nt every performance. He will be at th" Lyric today and tomorrow and hi-: many friends will no doubt give him a royal reception. .
