According to local parties the thermometer stood at 12 degrees above zero at 8 o'clock this morning. The farmers’ Institute will be held in this city next Friday and Saturday, February 13 and 14. Myers, here, was severely burned al>out her body yesterday as she fell on the hot stove. Being feeble with age she was helpless to withdraw herself from the stove alone until members of the fam lly could reach her side. Schroeder, the salesman, shows marked improvement since the operation of Thursday afternoon for the draining of thn lungs.
