The trouble between the two men has been coming up to this point for some time. Almost a year ago Miss Erwin, a graduate of the high school, and a popular young lady here, took the teachers’ examination before Ml. Mr. Erwin believes that the action that is being taken by Mr. Opliger against his daughter is not tor any thing she has done, but because of his • hatred for him, becau.se he was the < pposing attorney in several cases in which the superintendent was inter ested.
