DIED JN TEXAS Ernest Schroeder. Former Adams County Man, Passes Away at Rhea. MEMBER OF COLONY Os Adams County German Lutherans—Had Resided There Four Years. A telegram was received Saturday from Ithea, Texas, hy relatives near St. John'* of the dentil of F.rnc't Schroeder, who ha* resided there the past four years. Detail* of tlie death were not given. A letter wn* received by other* here from memhers of the community last week and told or plans of Mr. Schroeder and others to form a hunting party for last Monday or Tuesday, mid it I* pre*um<‘d that his death was quite sudden. While here he was subject to heart trouble, and an attack may have re suited In his dentlf. He Is u son of Mrs. Fred Schroeder of near St. John's. Mr. Schroeder wentto Texas three years ago last February, with others from the north part of the county, forming a German Lutheran colony in 1 Texas. He was about thirty-eight or thirty I nine years of age. He leaves u wife, who was formerly Ml** Martha Scheumann. and four children. Two brothers. Charles and William, of near Si.
