The deinacrat*c primary election of Adam- county. Indiana, ahull he held on Friday, the sth day of December, 1913. and, except as herein otherwise provided, shall be governed a-- far as practical, by the laws of tJfe State of Indian;., governlug general elections. Said primary clvctiou shall be hold for the purpose of nominating a(i county, judicial Ive. and township candidates . to be voted for at the next general election extlusixely by said Adams county, or the respective districts and townships within said county, and . also for the election of one committeeluau from each precinct In said county. The chairman, secretary i and treasurer of said general committee shall form an constitute the board of primary election commissioners at said primary election. The said chuirmau shall perform te duties that are required to be performed by the clerk of the circuit erturt at said primary election. The said chairman shall perform the duties that are required to he performed by the clerk of the circuit court at a general election Said bourd shall do and perform all duties required of similar boards at general election. Provided, that any two members of said hoard may do and perform said duties. It shall he tile duty of said board to prepare and distribute eouuty primary ballots on which shall be print'd the names of all candidates for all vs said county judicial and legislative offices, and also township ballots for each township on which shall be printed the names of all candidates for all township offices, however, that in arranging the said tickets, the names of candidates shall be arrang'd in alphabetical order. The inspectors of theseveral precincts shall call upon said commissioners at the city >f Decatur, not more than three days nor more than one day before said primary and receive all ballots, poll books and other supplies. Section S. The qualification* of lie voters at said primary election shall be that he Is a bona fide resl- ! lent of the prpeinct where he offers o vote, that he is a legal voter ther > u or will be before the next general 'lection, and that he voted the regular lemocrati cticket at the general election of 1912, or, if under the age of wetity-one years or otherwise disqualified at said last general election,, le intends to affiliate with and vo*er or the candidates of the democratic tarty. Sec.’ 9, Any uualilied voter of a tredact who has voted or intends to •ote in such precinct at said primary lection may challenge.anv other jeror. offering to vote in. such precinct t such primary upon tin: grounds hat lie is not or will not be a legal •oter at the genera! election, or that ie I* not an adherent of the demoratlc party. Should any candidate violate the rules and regulations of the said county committee and thereby iraudulently secure the nomination to the office which he may aspire, the candidate for such office who shall receive the next highest number of votes, provided such candidate shall not have also fraudulently violated said rules nud regulations shall, by a majority; vote of said committee be declared the nominee of said party lor said offi< e.
