PINE SHOW AT THE HUNTINGTON THEATER. — It was practically a standing room only house that greeted Ed Gilmore I and his company of fun makers at the Huntington theater Thursday night in the opening performance of Chas. Shelton's musical extravaganza, "The Cat and the Kiddie And a mighty well pleased audient e it was, too, for there was not a dull moment from the rise of the curtain until "Happy” peeked under on its finol fall and waved the crowd good bye. I Catchy songs, tuneful singers, pretty girls, rich costuming and brilliant silage effects tilled the evening full of •ijoyment and that the effects of the runmakers were appreciated was ful j ly demonstrated by the applause ; tid repeated encores. There is noth-j ing to "The Cat and the Fiddle" in j I the way of plot further than that I which is necessary to c arry the com-i pany through a series of elaborate I end effective stage settings and form a background on which to hang the I delightful music and merry fun. One I of the decided song hits of the evcLning was "My .Maid in the Moon by I Jack Blair, Marguerite Hay. male quartet And chorus. Lew N. Lawsen, who portrayed the part of ('apt.
