ATTEND WEDDING Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Battenberg and Daughter, at the Wedding. <• AT YORKTOWN, IND. Os Prof. James Battenberg and Miss Jean Crawford —Couple Visits Here. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Battenberg and daughter, Grayce, have returned from Yorflown, where last evening they attended the wedding of their son and brother, Prof. James Battencerg, of Atoka, Okla., and Miss Jean Crawford, ]>oßtmißtress of Yorktown. The wedding was solemnized at the home of the bride’s mother, and was attended by a hundred or more friends. The newly married couple will arrive heie this afternoon for a visit with his parents and will later take a longer trip. After three weeks or more they will go to Atoka, where Mr. Battenberg will decide his future course. He has served three years there as superintendent of the city schools, and has been selected for another year. While here he received a telegram tendering him the superintendency of the Oklahoma state agricultural college. Although his merits are such that those who tendered the place to him consider that he is fully capable, he considers the principalsbip of a state institution a great undertaking, especially as he is still a very young man. He is undetermined whether he will accept, and will not know until his arrival there. The couple will be ae- > companied here by his brother, Ted, who is returning from Indiana university. While there Mr. and Mrs. Battynberg met many old friends, as they formerly lived at Yorktown.
