CHRISTMAS CLUB Old Adams County Bank Offers Easy Plan to Provide Christmas Funds. p t z ! STARTS MARCH 17TH r - -- J. 'r 1 Continues for Thirty-eight Weeks—Young and Old , 1 Invited to Join Club. Everybody needs money for Christ- > mas. Many people nave trouble in ! providing a sufficient amount U buy ail the presents needed when the time I jcomes. The Old Adams County bank of this city otters an easy plan to meet such a contingency. On March 17th it will start a Christmas Savings club. Members will pay in a small amount each week for thirty-eight weeks and at the end of that time will receive checks for the total amount* they have paid in plus an additional 3 per cent interest. The plan is simple and systematic. There will be different classes of members. For instance, one class will start in by paying one cent the first week, two cents the second week, three cents the third week, and so on for thirty-eight weeks, the last week's payment amounting to thirtyeight cents. Members In this class | will receive checks two weeks before ! Christmas for the amount paid in with | interest, or they may reverse the order of payments by paying thirty-eight cents for the first week and paying one cent less each succeeding week, which brings the last week's payment down to one cent. There will also be classes starting with two cents and five cents. Payments must be made promptly every week or in advance for as many weeks as may be convenient. It will not only prove beneficial to grown people, but will prove very popinlar with young people. It is very simple and the details are easily understood when explained. Everybody is welcome to join and the Old Adams County bank will be pleased to have those interested call and learn all about it. Those desiring to become members can join after March 17th and up to April 7, 1913. — o » ELY’C CREAM BALM OPENS CLOGGED NOSTRILS AND HEADCATARRH GOES. • Instantly Clears .Air Passages—You Breathe Freely, Nasty Discharge Steps, Head Coids and Dull Headache Vanish. Difficulty has been experienced by railroad passengers from time to time in learning the causes of delays to trains on which they were traveling. Ing passengers without reservation the 1 reason for the delay, and if necessary, I the best means of proceeding on their . journey. When a train is disabled at ' or near a station, trainmen are to noJ tlfy the passengers as to cause and s probable extent of the delay in order that they may continue on their jour- ' uey, or return on an available train. ; If passengers desire to communicate . with their friends from the station f they are to be aedbrded promptly the ) use of the telephone or telegraph. Sinrilar instructions have been given t to station agents to post on their bul- -- letitf boards, or in other conspicuous places in their stations, a notice giv-
