John Joseph was a Fort Wayne business visitor today. P W. Smith of Richmond was in the city today on business. Attorney C. J. Lutz made a business trip to Fort Wayne yesterday afternoon. Rev. and Mrs. Freeman of Pleasant Mills were business visitors here yesterday. Mr. and Mrs. David Liby of Preble went to Fort Wayne today noon to visit with relatives. Mrs. Charles Bell and children returned today to Lima, Ohio, after a visit with the A. R. Bells. Mrs. Fred Geimer and babe and her mother, Mrs. C. Eiting went to Fort Wayne yesterday afternoon. Mis. M. B. Costello Is expected from Chicago to visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Brunnegraph. Ford automobiles have been sold to the following persons within the past few days: Edward Pla.tt and D. E. Sonner, of Union township; George Wright of Geneva; George Letz of Decatur, and Russell White, living west of the city.—Bluffton Banner. “The Star of Bethlehem” in three reels at the Star theater, this evening is said to be the finest picture film ever taken. The story is beautiful and is told by picture in a manner that impresses* it upon the mind. The price is ten cents and everybody should see these wonderful reels. Friends of Miss Sybil Sullivan, former Mt. Pleasant, Mich., girl, who for nearly two years has been employed as governess in the family of Francisco Madero, deposed president of Mexico, are fearful that she has met with foul play. Miss Sullivan has not been heard from in several weeks, and the parents are preparing to take the matter up with the United States government. Ed Johnson, who, with Mrs. Johnson, has been wintering at Bradentown, Fla., and who returned yesterday, greatly improved in health, brought with him a young octopus, which he caught one day while fishing in the Gulf of Mexico. It has eight arms and is a wonderful looking animal. Ed has the fish preserved in al-
cohol and it is now on display in the window at this office, where hundreds | have studied it. Miss Mayme Deininger, trimmer for the Deininger millinery store, has returned from a several weeks’ stay lat Cleveland and Chicago, where she | studied the spring styles of hats and j bought her models.
