Every sale held this season has been better than the preleeding one and the sale of tomorrow promises to ouUhine them all. With | the promise of good weather and high i competitive bidding, the sale is sure to be a record breaker. The Van Wert county grand jury, Investigating the Helen Hoover shooting mystery, is resting until Friday morning, after hearing a number of additional witnesses. It is confidently expected that an indictment will be returned against the young husband, though new developments in the case lead people of Van Wert to believe that the prosecution will find it difficult to convict Hoover of the crime. If it does, it is said it will be on circumstantial evidence alone. Mr. Hoover’s father, who is wealthy, said |he would spend his last cent in defense of his son. The young husband had made no statement to throw any new light on the mystery and seems to be more concerned over his own welfare than the death of his wife.
