The school resumes after a week’s vacation. The Decatur schools had a Now Year's holiday of one day yesterday. This was in addition to the vacation of the preceding week. James Everett of Barker Creek, Mich., arrived this morning for a visit with his cousin, John Everett, and other relatives and friends. Mr. Everett is a fruit grower and farmer in the Wolverine stato. Miss Nellie Neiderhauser, of Linn Grove was in Bluffton this morning on her way to Marion, to look after business matters there and for a short visit with her brother, Homer Neiderhauser.—Bluffton News. John Ulrick left this morning for his home at Elkhart. Ind., after spending New Year's with his daughter and son, Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Case. Mrs. Case accompanied her father to his home and will visit there for a month. Bert Christen of Toledo. Ohio, Is visiting here with his parents, Mr. and, Mrs. John Christen. He was delayed In his arrival here until late New Year's afternoon on account of <• wreck on the Pennsylvania, when their train left the track near Toledo. Ohio. Miss Jessie Magley made a short New Year’s call yesterday afternoon at Fort Wayne on her cousin, Mrs. Harry Christen, and her new baby son. Mrs Christen was Miss Nettle Buckingham, and Is a granddaughter of Henry Miller of near Geneva.
