INDICTED FOR KNABE MURDER. (United ITess Service) Indianapolis, Ind., Dec. 31 —(Special to Daily Democrat)—lndictments charging murder were returned by the grand jury against Dr. W. B. Craig, a veternarian, and A. M. Ragsdale, an undertaker, in connection with .the death of Dr. Helen Knabe, who was found nude in bed with her throat cut open, over a year ago. The evidence secured and upon which the indictments are based is said to be circumstantial. Ragsdale was not implicated by the detectives until they discovered that he had in his possession a kiinona which was worn by Dr. Knabe late in the evening of the murder. The kimona, after a close examination, was found to have been stained with blood and later to have been washed with a strong chemical. It is thought that the motive of the crime lay in a certain relationship which Dr. Craig had with Dr. Knabe, and which he wished to discontinue. Mrs. Nora Christen returned to Fort Wayne this afternoon after a visit at the home of Mrs. Belle Johnson, and with Grandma Garrison, who today celebrated her eighty-sixth birthday anniversary. o WANTED—AII krnd of ladies.
