given the Old Home Week. Why, bles your old heart, Fred, this is one occasion in a life time, and one in which everybody in Adams coun’y should join. If you will allow yourself to forget your standpatlsm for just one week and get tn the game, you will enjoy It as much as anybody. Hundreds of former citizens of Adams county are coming home after I years away, and we’re going' to enter- ' tain them. That’s all there is to *t ; and no one who is half public spirited ' can help from git Ing them the glad I hand and joining in the festivities. Try it. ' Register Monday! Doni put oft I this duty, and it is, a duty. Do it Monday, or you lose your right io vote in November. You can t afford to do that. You might as well live in Iceland or some other cold and foreign land as to live in Indiana and not register. You put yourself out of the organization of your community when you deliberately refuse to take a part j in the making of laws and the select- ' ing of men who make them—that s j what you do when you don’t register. The law was made to prevent the ma.i 1 who had no right to vote from killing ! your vote by casting his illegal one. ‘ It was not made to stop the man from voting who has the right, and don’t I let anybody fool you into doing that an? then smile at you afterwards. Register and then vote on November ' sth.
