McMillen, who departed this i life June 28, 1911, will be appropriate) at this time, today being the anniversary of her birth and tomorrow the first anniversary of her death: Darling mamma now has left us To abide in a world on high, Rut her soul is with the angels, While her form in dust doth lie. We have loved her, and the anguish Os our hearts is known to God; In his wisdom he has scourged us, And we bow beneath the rod. i Yes, we've loved her, but we’re human, God, divine, still loves us more: He will pity while he chastens — Heal our hearts that feel so sore. Could we see the angels greeting When our darling reached the shore, | How our hearts would beat with rapture, |■ As she neared bright Heaven’s door. How we miss her, and we suffer, And our souls are full of pain; | But we know in our deep sorrow, Our great loss, is Mamma's gain. > —i-—; <_ * I. LOST —Gold chain, for little girl.;.
