WHY GRANITE FACED? Thai question was asked our salesman the other day. rafflßEOSß®. The party wanted to know why the blocks were granite laced, and the few reasons were summed up for the customers benefit. First the granite facing has a “sheen” to it.’ Shines liko silk. This is permarfhnt. Second it makes a harder face, which means that the block is more impervious tp moisture and hence more durable. Third it gives a smoother finish to the product adding dignity to a much maligned building material. We’ve a full line of samples, see them at our factory. ■—■. ■■l . , ■ ,Il I ■■■■■,— ■ ACKER CEMENT WORKS

Why 1 Am Selling REO Cars I have been using REO TMETHIRD for six yea*, and it h as made good, and is new doing duty here in Adams County 3S efficiently ss ever. The Reo Company has always treated me fairly on repairs and an 1 occasional overhauling of the car. My brother has used a PEO THE . FOURTH for two years and found it satisfactory. Three of us Sugar Company employees have been considering for the past ! year the purchase of cars and have attended several automobile shows ' and investigated the different makes of cars. Our chief engineer at Hos and is an auto expert and we have asked his advice, also. The result ot our investigations has been in favor of the REO by long odds. In fact w» have concluded that there is no better car made for any price than the REO HIGER PRICED CARS REPRESENTING ONLY ADDED POWER SIZE AND SUPERFLUOUS APPLIANCES. After considering these points carefully, we have all purchased REO cars for ourselves and are now using them in our every-day business, and are not disappointed in the least.
