ALUMINUM DEMONSTRATION. The John Brock store was a bright and cheery place today, with its great display of aluminum ware of all kinds, presided over by the demonstrator of the "Wear-ever” Aluminum company. Miss Grace Heisler of Indianapolis, • who is showing the ladies of Decatur j the uses of this ware. A gas range has been fitted up in the store and Miss Hesler demonstrates the practicability of the various utensils. This afternoon she showed how- beans can be baked in the aluminum pot on top of the stove and olso baked a cake on top of ,the range. Apples, potatoes, etc., can be baked ontop as well as in the oven, in these aluminum utensils, without the use of water, and with less danger of burning than though baked in the oven Wednesday Mioo , Hesler will demonstrate the cooking I of a pot-roast without water on th 1 * gas burner in the special kettle prepared for that purpose. The alumi-1 num ware consists of kettles, pans, j roasters, tea kettles, etc., and all va-, rieties of cooking utensils, of alumi num, that “wear-forever,” and always keep bright and clean. The windowdisplays are interesting One window shows the contract between the ol<l and new styles, and the other window shows the aluminum in all Its stages from the mine to the utensils.
