Pauline and Martin Huger have returned to Fort Wayne after attending the funeral of their grandmother, Mrs, Anna Mary Huger, held Tuesday afternoon at St. John's. Jaus officiating. The death of Mrs. Huser occurred at I the home of her daughter, Mrs. Louis j Schroeder, where she had made her home. The funeral was largely at tended. A boy looking for something to do saw the sign, “Boy wanted." hanging [outside of a store in New York. He [picked up the sign and entered the store. The proprietor met him. A well known instructor was explaining the principle of the autmobile to an Indian. The Indian was intelligent and the explanation was a model of directness and clearness. “Well.” said the teacher at the end, do you understand the automobile now?” The Indian, who had listened intently, replied: “Yes, I understand all but one thing.” “And what is that?" asked his instructor, thinking to clear up some little point. "I do not understand what makes the automobile go without horses.”

The complaint is in tort and alleges that the defendants entered upon plaintiff's lands, without right, and cut down, destroyed and hauled away all of the timber, including small trees growing on the premises, all of the value of SSOO.
