A large class of ninety-nine prospective common ochool graduates took the diploma examination conducted Saturday at the Cnetral school house in this city in charge of Mrs. L. E. Opliger. The funeral was held Friday near New Haven. .' Saturday was the banner day for the library, 140 books having been taken out. The reading tables and reference departments were also heavily patronized. A large number of new fiction books and books for juveniles have been added.
