The funeral of Adam Dietrich of I Schumm, Ohio, well known here, was held yesterday at that place. Mr. Dietrich was eighty-three years of age. Edgar Gerber is serving as motor-, < man on the interurban in the place of 1 C. L. Meibers.who was injured in the 1 wreck Saturday, when his knee was dislocated. ' Rev. G. H. Mrs. Lydia Bodie was a shopper here yesterday and left at noon for her home. J. P. Everhart returned to his home al Monroe after a business call in out city yesterday. Mrs. Fred Worst of Berne has returned home after a short stay in the city with friends. Harry Stowe of Lynn, who has been a visitor here for several days, leit this morning for his home. Miss Sophia Jaebker of Preble spent the night here with the Chris Boese family and left this morning for Fort Wayne for a visit. Mrs. .1. H. Bremerkamp and daughter, Genevieve, have returned after visiting Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Keller of Brackenridge street, Fort Wayne. The funeral of Mrs. Rosina Myers of Preble township, whose death occurred early Sunday morning, was held this afternoon from the Preble Lutheran church, in charge of the Rev. Koch. Mrs. S. Pontius and son, Walter, of Geneva, spent the day Monday with their son and brother, Herbert Pontius, who is ill in the Jay county hospital. Surveyors Ernst and Harruff were I at Geneva today doing some surveying. Lewis Weis, w-ho has been visiting I in Fort Wayne the past few days, returned home Monday. Attend the Christian S. Horace Callow rested well this morning after a bad night, and otherwise there is very little change in her condition of the past few days. j As we go to press it is reported that two elderly and respected citizens. Andrew Teeple and Al Buhler, are dying. Mr. Teeple is suffering from paralysis and Mr. Buhler from lung trouble. .The Christian Sunday school boys i will give a pie social this evening I the Minnie Daniels home on Sixth street. The immersions were wit nessed by several thousand persons, who shivered on the river banks and huddled close to fires built by small boys.
