M. Hensley is chairman, is negotiating with Julius Haugk for lodge rooms in the new business block which he is contemplating building on Madison street, west of the True & Runyon store. For some' time the Elks have been considering new 7 quarters, and at one time, contemplated building a new home. Again the mat•ter of getting larger and better quarters in some building, and furnishing them in a handsome and complete way, seemed more advisable in the face of somewhat limited finances, and the new building which Mr. Haugk will build looks good to them for this purpose.
