The crowd was a record-break-er for all past sales, buyers coming I from all parts of the country. The bidding was spirited, and with Colonel Fred Reppert at the helm, the high dollar was reached every time. Mr. Neldlinger, who is the raiser of nothing but One stock, always draws a gathering from far and near, and is | a ell satisfied with results received | Wednesday. MASONS TO POE. The Decatur Team Will Confer Master 1 Mason's Degree on Candidate. The Decatur Masons will go to Poe this evening, whexe they will confer | the Master Mason s degree upon a [ candidate from that town. A large | number have chartered a large auto-! mobile truck to convey them to Poe and those who cannot fird room in that will probably go by interurban. o "— 1 - ATTEND FUNERAL. Mrs. W. A. Kuebler left this afternoon for Mansfield, Ohio, where she will attend the funeral of Mr. Kuebler's brother, Louis, who died early on Wednesday morning. Mr. Kuebler, who was called to his bedside, but who arrived after his brother had passed away, is there also for the funeral. The last sad rites will be held Saturday morning from the Catholic church there. CHEWS TOBACCO. Montpelier, Ind., Oct. s—The5 —The only Montpelier man who saw Rodgers In his cross-country flight Sunday, was Fred Emchwiller. He and his wife had just landed in Bluffton for a visit when he saw the air man heave in sight. Mr. Emshwiller was standing on a box car and Rodgers passed so close to him that he claims he handed Rodgers a chew of tobacco. — ■ o WILL HOLD RECITAL. Both people are well known and highly respected, Mrs. j Wiehe being formerly Miss Mary Nuerge of Friedheim. PROMPT PAYMENT. Harry E. Murray, an employee of the automobile works, has recently received a cheek from Walter Johnson, agent for the Hoosier Casualty company, who paid eight dollars in premiums for the injury received while at work. The payment was made the day after Mr. Murray was able to go back to work.
