FUNERAL SERVICES Short Service Held This Morning Box the Chronister Babe. BURIAL AT ALPHA Services Fcr Hoile Babe Will be Held Tomorrow—At Bleeke Church. i ___ Funeral services for Mildred, sixteen days old, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Willard Chronister, whose de. th occurred Tuesday, were conducted today. A short service was held at the home by tne Rev. D. O. Wise of the Evangelical church at 10 o'clock this motning, after which interment took place in the Alpha cemetery. Obsequies for Rudolph, five monthsold son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hoile, of Root township, will be held Thursday morning, the procession leaving the home at 8:30, sun time, for the Bleeke Lutheran church, where the Rev. Dornseif will officiate, and the body will be laid to rest in the Bleeke cemetery. The death of the babe occurred Tuesday afternoon, following illness resulting from the measles. The babe had apparently recovered from the measles, when complications set ni, and a sudden turn for the worse resulted soon thereafter in its death. The child next older is also sick with the same thing. o INDIANA S. S. CONVENTION. Great preparation is being made by the Sunday school workers of Fort Wayne for the convention of the Indiana Sunday School association to be held in that city June Bth, 9th, 10th and 11th. Committees, composed of leading business and professional men are at work arranging the details of entertainment and church buildings. Dr. M. S. Mason is chairman of the general committee. G. A. Burry of the finance committee, F. W. Kelsey of the entertainment committee, Rev. Frank Ruf of the exhibition, and Rev. P. J. Alberthus of the house committee. It is estimated that a thousand delegates and visitors, coming from every county in the state, will attend this convention, and the program is unexcelled in strength and value. For further information apply to Indiana Sunday School association, 417 Law Bldg., Indianapolis. BAND PRACTICE HELD. New Organization Put in Several Hours Tuesday Evening. The band boys put in another evening of practice Tuesday evening and for several hours furnished music for pedestrians on the streets. They are getting in better shape each day and will still take in new members, if they are interested and wish to join. They mean business and expect to furnish some very good music before the summer is over. They will accompany the Elks’ special to Fort Waytie on the last day of the Elks’ convention to furnish music. anp are at present making arrangements for this day. By a little help and encouragement this city will have one of the best and fullest equipped bands to be found in any city of Decatur's size. IN LAST RESTING PLACE. Were the Remains of the Late Albert Presdorf Interred. Albert Presdorf, who passed out of this life on March 3rd, and whose remains had been kept in the vault at the Decatur cemetery, were this morning placed in their last resting place.
