All the delicacies of the season were served. The rooms were profusely decorated with carnations and autumnjeaves. After indulging in much fun and merriment in the afternoon the guests departed, wishing Mr. Brown many happy anniversaries. GARY'S FIRST CENSUS. (United Press Service.) Washngton. D. C., Oct. 31—(Special to Daily Democrat) —The census bureau announced today that the population of the town of Gary, Ind., is 16,202.
