Addle. o — IN HONOR OF GUEST. — A very happy' party of Friday evening was that given by Miss Naomi Dugan in compliment to her house guest, Miss Margaret Todd, of Bluffton. About twenty of the young girls and boys of that circle attended the party and spent a delightful evening, with dancing and music, and a light , lunch contributed to the good time. o ■ - The Misses Glennis Mangold and Leah Hensley drove the Hensley pony I and cart to the C. M. Andrews home j near Peterson, where thew were i : guests over night of the Misses Lucile and Bernice Andrews, and attended a box social at the Election school house. Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Dugan gave a dinner party Friday, the guests including Mr. and Mrs. Ferrier Christen of Chicago, Mrs. Catherine McLain and daughter, Jessie, and Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Kueblei. The Misses Rose and Dora Schlickman, Marie Heckman, Sadie Barger and Vera Meyers were among those from this city in attendance at the box social held Friday evening at the Election school house, near Peterson, of which Frank Mills is the teacher. The attendance was very large and a corresponding large sum was realized from the sale of the boxes. A number of contests contributed to the amusement of the guests, and a verypleasant social evening was spent. o CHURCH NOTICE.
