/■ OBITUARY. Zacharias Kellar was born In Millersburg. Holmes county, Ohio, October 23, 1843. He moved to Wood county, Ohio, in the year of 1861. 0 While there he enlisted as a private ;c in Company A. One Hundredth Regime rnent, O. V. 1., September 5, 1862. He >0 served his country three years and rec reived an honorable discharge at the close of the war. He was mustered into the G. A. R. February 23, 1885, and served as chaplain of Shepard Post, No. 507, at McClure. Ohio, at the ■c time of his death. He was united in t marriage with Mariah Rigg August 24, ic 1870. To this union was born three c children, W. C. Kellar, Helen Sheats ic and Annas, who died at the age of c seventeen. He has been a member of c the U. 11. church about fifty years. He was a good, faithful Christian, living '• in the discharge of his known duties c as best he could. He had been afHictc ed since early in the spring and has C been confined to his bed for the pa.,t c six weeks. He departed this life at e his home near McClure. Ohio, August c 19. 1910, at the age of 66 years, 9 C months and 26 days. He leaves a wife, who tenderly watched over and cared for him during his last illness; one son, one daughter, a brother and three c sisters. One sister was present «t the burial. The others were preventc ed from attending on account of sick- ( ness. Many other relatives and friends and neighbors are left to mourn —eir loss, while he dwells with Annas and his Savior in the heavenly home. C _ -
