COURT HOUSE NEWS. A marriage license was issued to Troby Z. Cramer, 22, a baker of South Whitley, Indiana, and son of U. E. Cramer, and Nora C. Helm, twenty, daughter ox D. A, Helm, of this city. Attorney A. P. Beatty has filed a new case in court entitled William J. Heeler vs. Alive Heeler, divorce. The parties live at Geneva and the complaint says they were married September 9, 1906, and lived together until last April. A divorce is asked and in the complaint W. B. Hale, also of Geneva, is named as -the co-respond-ent. —: o WITH THE SICK. Mrs. Jacob Buhler, who has been on the sick list for a week, is slowly Improving, and her condition is encouraging. although she is still verysick. The condition of Mrs. Harry Fritzinger of First street is somewhat improved. She has been sick for several days past. Aug. 22—(Special to Daily Democrat) —The census bureau today announced the population of Toledo, Ohio, as 168,497, an increase of 36,675 or 27.8 per cent. s o Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Gonder left for Noble county this morning. O. B. Oliver of Huntington is visiting with Miss Edith Miller. Mrs. 0. May returned to Fort Wayne today after visiting in the city. Mrs. Heidamann of west of town returned Sunday night from Rome City. Bertha Pohler of Fort Wayne, who has been visiting here, returned to her home. Mr. and Mrs. W. Reed of Craigville transferred here on their way to Fort Wayne today. Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Daugherty and son. Clyde, of Kalamazoo. Mich., are visiting in the city. Miss Della Harruff left today for Salamonia for a few weeks’ visit with her sister, Mrs. Linus Beard. Leo Yager left today on his regular trip to Portland, and from there to Toledo, for the remainder of the week. Carl Hanna and Clarence Schultz of Fort Wayne were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Schultz over Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Leonard and children have returned from Kendallville after spending Snudav there with relatives. Mrs. Mary Overman of Covington, Ky . who has been at Rome City for some time, passed through the city on her way home. Dr. W. E.
