Mrs. John Porter and daughter, Leah, left today for Parker City, where they paid a visit to her sons, Frank and Thurman Porter. Frank Roop and sons. Lawrence and Orval. have returned from a week's visit with relatives at Bucyrus. Ohio. They also attended the commencement at that place. Miss Marie Allison, who has been attending college at the National Park Seminary at Baltimore, Md., returned home this noon and will spend her summer vacation with her parents. The members of the Sunday school class of the Methodist church taught by Mrs. Fanny Yoder will be entertained tomorrow afternoon by Miss Josephine Hower at her home on Eleventh street. Mrs. W. F Rost, formerly of this city, who has been teaching French in the Y. M. C. A. at Fort Wayne, during the winter, will visit here over Sunday with his sister, Mrs. A. Van Camp, before leaving Tuesday for her home at Schenectady, N. Y., where she will spend the summer. —o SLIGHTLY IMPROVED. Word received this afternoon from the bedside of Mrs. William Bosse at Fort wayne said that she was improved, but still very low. The news is somewhat encouraging to her many friends, who hope that the improvement will continue. o SCARED INTO SOUND HEALTH. Mr. B. F.
