SEEKERS EXCITE SUSPICION. Comet gazers may be seen every morning nowadays—peering from the housetops, from windows, or hastening away to the eastern edge of the city where a clear view gives no excuse for not catching a glimpse of this one-a-life-time wanderer. A party of three —man, wife and daughter—residing on First street, after trying in vain Saturday morning about 2:3') to catch a full view of the comet from their home, decided to walk to the Monroe street river bridge, where the view would be clear. While hastening through the chill morning air with all speed they met the night watchman, who, noting their haste, decided that something must be amiss and hailed them. When he found who the party was and what was their object'he joined in the good laugh and accompanied them on their way. It was not long until they met the night policeman, who also hailed them, thinking there was something suspicious about their haste and the early j morning prowling—but be, too, was obliged to join in the laugh when he found it was only a comet party. o The Schaub-Gottemoller hardware company is putting up a new awning. can be but little doubt regarding the unusual curative merits of the remedy. Newspapers all over the coun1, try are publishing news of many of the remarkable cures the discovery is making, and there are but few localities that have not reported some great good from the use of Root Juice. From Bedford, down in the southern part of Indiana, the proprietor of the Owl Drug store, wrote the Root Juice people that Mrs. Sam White of North 1 street, said: "I had quit taking medicine, dismissed my doctor and prepared to die. when I heard of the great discovery called Root Juice. ' I sent for some of it, and before I had finished taking the first bottle, 6 was able to sit up in bed. The doctor said I hand cancer of the stomach. I don’t know what It was, but Root Juice soon cured me, and I can’t say enough in favor of it.” Frank Brown <rf 912 East Fourteenth street, Bedford, Ind., said: "I had stomach trouble for years, and tried many doctors and medicines without much benefit, but after taking Root Juice a short while, was free from pain and annoyance and could eat and sleep. I soon became strong and well, and wouldn't take any sum for what the great medicine has done 1 for me.” It seems that Root Juice benefits every one who takes it a short while. The tonic virtues of the remedy are amazing. It is very soothing to the stomach, bowels and kidneys. The Holthouse drug store is perhaps the best place to get information regarding the remedy. ’ BICYCLE WANTED—Good secondhand bicycle.
