Work was begun Monday on the extensive remodeling and redecorating of the I. O. O. F. hall, and when it is known that about $4,000 will be required to cover the expense of this w'ork, some idea of the beauty and extensiveness of the remodeling will be grasped. A steel ceiling will be put in, the walls frescoed by Artist Kover of Fort Wayne, the entire woodwork refinished, furnishings renewed and a new carpet laid. The carpet alone will cost about S3OO, and will be one of great richness and beauty. The hall will be one of the finest of its kind in the state and is well deserved by this, one of the oldest orders in the city.
