Albert Butler and Julius Haugk, who left Saturday evening for Jonesboro, Arkansas, where they J>id on 1 a job for the pavement of a street, returned this morning at 6 o’clock over ' the Clover Leaf. Messrs. Butler and ■ Haugk state that they ara not sure whether they will get the job or not. Their bid for the pavement if done in concrete was the lowest, and their i for the pavement in brick was the second lowest. Arrangements were also furthered Wednesday evening for the Woodmen entertainment to be given at the hall, Wednesday, December 15th, to which also the Royal Neighbors are invited. John Volz, state deputy of Indianapolis, will also be present and give an address, and an excellent program of speeches, recitations and music will be given.
