NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS Notice is hereby given that the common council of the city of Decatur, Indiana, will received sealed proposals for the construction of a sewer to be known as the Frank Brown sewer, and to be constructed on and along the following described route: Commencing at the north line of Adams street, in the alley between Eighth and Ninth streets, itj the city of Decatur, Indiana, running thence north on and along the center of said alley to the center of Jefferson street or to the sewer in Jefferson street, and there to terminate, running between lots, number 549, 550, 551, 552 on the west and lots 557, 556, 555, 554 and 553 on the east, all in Crabbs western addition to the town now city of Decatur, According to the plans, profile and specification of said sewer as prepared and filed by the city civil engineer of said city, in the office of city clerk of said city, on Tuesday, September 7, 1909, Bids will be received up and until seven o'clock p. m. Each bidder must file with his bid a certified check in the sum of two hundred dollars, as a guarantee that he will accept said bid and carry out the construction of said work. The successful bidder will be required to give bond with security to be approved by the common council, insuring the faithful completion of said work according to contract.
