NOTICE TO BIDDERS. Notice is hereby given that the Common Council of the city of Decatur, Ind., will on Tuesday, August 17, 1909, at their council chamber, at seven o’clock p. m., receive sealed bids for city refunding bonds to the amount of $20,000, in denominations of SI,OOO each, with interest at the rate of 4% per cent., both principal and interest payable semi-annually. Bonds dated July Ist, 1909. First bond becoming due and payable July 1, 1910, and others becoming due payable semiannually on the Ist day of January and Ist day of July of each year thereafter until all of said bonds are paid. Principal and interest payable at the First National bank Decatur, Ind. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check in amount of $500.00 as evidence of acceptance and good faith. Bids will be received in accordance to a resolution passed by the city council July 20, 1909. Tne Common Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
