Wi'l -Locate in this City Next Month. We are in receipt of a communication from Geneva signed “A few citizens'- which says that John Didot. who has conducted a jewelry store there for eighteen years past has sold his store and will shortly remove to Decatur. Whether or not he will go into business here Is not known, but he has decided to move here on account of better school facilities for b’s son. whom he is anxious to educate. Mr. Didot has been very successful at Geneva, and is comfortably fixed in this world’s goods. He has sold his store to A. L. Kuntz, his competitor at Geneva, and will give possession on August 7th, after which time it is said he will remove to this city.

Have you read the program of the log rolling to be found in this issue. If you want a day of pleasure, arrange to spend Saturday at Steele's park. Five Decatur boys are spending a few days in a very pleasant way by camping out at Sycamore Springs. They will do their own cooking, fish, and in the evening sleep like the Indians, under a tent. That boys like to camp out is evidenced by the fact that these boys are having the best possible time. With several plates, a fork or two, a knlte and some blankets their outfit is complete. Baking potatoes in a little brick oven is one of the accomplishments. The crowd is composed of the following: Willie Mougey, Alf Mougey, Bernard Holthouse, Norbert Holthouse, Charley Holthouse.
