CORRECT FALSE REPORT. I. The undersigned wants to positively deny that he ever said that he did not care for a re-election as superintendent of the county asylum. Reports to the contrary are being circulated in order to get names on a petition asking the board of county, commissioners to let the superinend-1 ency to the lowest bidder, when they take up the election of a superintendent in June. My quarterly reports, twenty-eight of them in number, are on file and have beers ever since be- i ing made, and any taxpayer in the ; eounty can see them by making such ■ a request at the office of the county auditor. These reports are public ’ property, and as a servant for the ’ people, I would be glad to have these i reports, as well as all my actions [ as superintendent investigated by any one who wants this knowledge for an honest purpose.
