HE IS ALL RIGHT fContinued from Ona) st rumen tai in giving me an educa-1 tion, which I herewith cheerfully ac- ; ki owledge, notwithstanding that such acknowledgement may seem as com- '; ing rather late. At that time the Democrat was a weekly, and 1 believe, a struggling ; one at that. Now it is a daily and ito all apeparances a prosperous one I Its typographical as well as its litj erary garb compare favorably with that of many city papers with far I greater pretentions. Its advertising columns are filled with the announcej menu of live, up to date, progressive merchants and business men. This ! especially I note with pride and satisfaction. For it augurs well for the thrift, progress and prosperity of a community if it liberally supports and patronizes its home press, its county ’ paper, its best friend, which loyally stands by it in weal and woe, in times of adversity as well as in prosperity, always seeking to promote its best I interests. So then, here is to a prosperous future for the Daily Democrat.

I ISE NEW METHOD Seattle Fifth Grade Write to Similar Grade of Decatur Schools LETTERS OF INTEREST Describing the Country— Students Here Will Answer the Letters A new and novel method of studying geography and one which it is believed will impress the minds of the student in a manner that will cause them to remember the facts for many years was given its first trial here today, when a number of letters were received from the pupils of the fifth grade at Seattle, Washington, addressed to the similar grade here. These letters described in a splendid way the city of Seattle and its wonderful (resources, the Yukon river. Alaska, the big exposition to be given there, and many other places of unusual interest in that great western part of our country. These letters win be read to the class and to the pupils of the fifth grades over the city who make the best grades will be allotted the honor of writing letters to the Seattle fiffh grade, telling them of the natural resources, the climate, the industries of this country and describing our own eity. In this way we are advertised through the west and the students will be the better acquainted with the geography of Seattle and its surrounding country. The plan may be used extensively next year.

MRS. LINN GUEST OF HONOR Entertained by the Pythian S ster* at B'uffto-. The Pythian Sisters observed their first inspection in the new Pythian home yesterday when, on "Pythian Sisters Day" they held a reception in honor of Mrs. Linn, of Decatur, the district deputy, and initiated a eau- • didate into the mysteries of the order . As is provided by the by-laws adopted when tne new home was entered, Friiday is a uay turnea entirely over to I the ladies and they have the undisputed use of the lodge and c’ut rooms. Some seventy-five or eighty of the membership of the lodge assembled during the afternoon and an informal reception was held for Mrs. Linm The ladies had a picnic supper in the club house and in the evening held their regular ritualistic meeting Mrs. Will Dailey was given the initiatory degree and the work was exemplified by a mock initiation with a member of the Knights of Pythias as candidate in order that the ladies might be inspected as to their proficiency in the ritual Mrs. Linn did not render a report of the result of her inspection last night, but promised to let the ladies know their grade later. There is no possibility but that the percentage of perfection which they have reached is high, and the Sisters received many compliments from the inspector.— Bluffton News. o— — GERMS IN HER SYSTEM Every Woman Should Read This
The number of diseases peculiar to I woman is such that we believe this I space would hardly contain a mere mention of their names, and it is a fact that most of these diseases are of a catarrhal nature. A woman cannot be well if there is a trace of the catarrhal germs in her system. Some women think there is no help for them. We positively declare this; Ito be a mistaken idea. We are so svre of this that we offered to supply; medicine absolutely free of all cost i in every instance where it fails to give entire satisfaction or does not substantate our claims. With this understanding. no woman should hesitate to believe our honesty of purpose, cr hesitate to put our claims to a test There is only one way to cure Catarrh. That way is through the blood. You may use an the snuffs, douches' or like remedies for years without get-! tiftg more than temporary relief at! best Catarrh is caused by a germ. That germ is carried by the blood to the innermost part of the system until the mucous membrane is broken, irritation and inflammation produced, and a flow of mucous results, and you can probably realize how silly it is to attempt to cure such an ailment unless you take a medicine that follows the same course as the germ or parasite. Retail Mucu-Tone is scientifically prepared from the prescription of an eminent phytician who for thirty years made his specialty Catarrh, and with this medicine he averaged 98 per cent of cures where it was employed. No oth.*r remedy is so properly designed for the ailments of woman It will purify and enrich the blood, stop mucous discharge, destroy all germ matter. remove all impurities from the system, soothe, heal and bring about a good feeling of health and strength. We want you to try Rexall MucuTcne on our guarantee. It you are not benefitted, or for any reason not satisfied, simply tell us and we will hand back your money.
