The members of the Evangelical church met on Friday evening for service and after a most inspiring sermon by Rev. L. S. Fisher of Kokomo, proceeded to elect the S. S. officers for the ensuing year which resulted as follows: Supt., J. F. Lachot; Asst. Supt., A. Van Camp; Secy., Ida Van Camp; Treas., Levi Barkley; Organist, Verna Smith; Asst. Organist, Bessie Baumgartner. The other officers will be duly appointed by the officers elected. Another prosperous year stands in view for the school. The school has caught the missionary spirit. A week ago the same pledged 150.00 for China mission. At presort, preparation are under way for a successful Christmas entertainment.
