Our revival closed Wednesday night. There were four conversions during the meeting and the church was helped in a great way spiritually. We had good attendance, considering the weather and other conditions.
There will be Sunday evening service at Lincoln City.

Sunday was a great day at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Roach, for all their children and families were there for the first time together in four years. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. George Roach and daughter Geraldine, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Zimmerman and daughter Mary Ann, and Mrs. May Klinstiver of New Albany; Mr. and Mrs. Rollie Ross of Evansville; and Mr. and Mrs. Otto Roach of Dale. All had a good time and enjoyed the day together.
Mr. and Mrs. Lester Smith and family ha.ve moved in the Grant Weller property. This place was formerly owned by Joe Schum.

Mrs. J. H. Barrow delightfully entertained her bridge club at her home Wednesday evening having as special guests Mrs. C. P. Fuller, Mrs. Francis Crane and Mrs. Delmer Harris. Prizes were awarded Mesdames T. W. Wright, Olin Cooper and Wallace. A lovely lunch was served after four tables of bridge.

Wesley Guth, who has been a patient in the Stork Hospital in Huntingburg for several months, is in a critical condition.
To the many good friends and neighbors who so kindly came to our assistance during the affliction and death of our dear husband and father, we extend our grateful and sincere thanks. Your sympathy and kind deeds will always be remembered. We also wish to thank the pastors and choir for their comforting words and songs, and the many friends who gave so many beautiful flowers. May God bless you all is our prayer.
Miss Faye Witte, with her roommate, from Indiana State Teacher’s College at Terre Haute, spent the week end with Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Witte.
Rev. Edward Bockstahler of Cleveland, Ohio was here the first of the week calling on relatives and friends.
Miss Elizabeth Weller of Terre Haute spent the week end with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Grant Weller.
Mr. and Mrs. Emanuel Baugh and children of Evansville spent Sunday with Mrs. Mary Winkler.
Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Schroer were visitors in Evansville Thursday.
Mesdames C. M. Sprinkle and Grant Weller were recent visitors in Terre Haute.
Miss Dorothy Heichelbech, who has been clerking in Allen’s Store for several months, will become office girl at the local cheese factory beginning Monday.
Benjamin Hevron of Lincoln City has purchased the Lipsey Store and has taken possession of same.
