The King Herald’s had a weiner roast at the shelter house here Wednesday evening. Ice cream and cookies were also served.
The mysterious missionary mothers had their banquet here at the hotel Tuesday evening.

Rev. and Mrs. O. A. Beanblossom were called back to Harrison county Wednesday to conduct the funeral of a friend.

Misses Eloise and Amy Brooner and Dean Brooner, who have been vacationing in the West, arrived here Sunday evening, to spend the week visiting, and will leave here Sunday for their home in Gary, where Miss Eloise will teach again this year.

Mr. and Mrs. Gene Hoops, who have been living in Clay City moved into the Paul Heichelbech property this week, that was recently vacated by Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Nation.
Albert J. Wedeking was a visitor in Grandview Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. B. J. McEwen of Plant City, Fla., are here for a several week’s visit with relatives, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Adams and Mr. and Mrs. Delmer Harris. Mrs. McEwen was formerly Devonia Adams.
Rev. and Mrs. W. H. Lutes were dinner guests of Mrs. Sallie Stone and Mrs. Tish Haroon Sunday.
Miss Josephine Renner, telephone operator of Huntingburg for a number of years, became the bride of Ed. E. Alpers, mayor of Huntingburg, at 8 o’colck Saturday evening at the St. Mary’s rectory in Huntingburg. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Greener were the attendants.
Miss Bessie Helmboch of Boonville spent the first of the week with friends here.
P. W. Fuller attended services and the mission feast at Leistner’s Church near Lamar Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. John Kuntz attended the wedding celebraties of a relative in Fulda last Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. S. A. Weller were visitors in Grandview Saturday.
