Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Fahr and family from English spent Saturday and Sunday with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Fahr. Their son Billy returned home with them, after spending the summer with his grandparents.
Mrs. J. S. Kerr was called to Evansville this week because of the illness of her mother Mrs. Mitz.

Arthur Roell had his shoulder bone broken Saturday when he fell out of his hay loft. He was taken to St. Mary's Hospital in Evansville by Dr. Fielding Williams.

Arthur Guth and mother Mrs. Amelia Guth have returned to Akron, Ohio after spending a couple of weeks with his wife and family.

Thers will be no services this Sunday because of the annual conference in session at Maple Grove Camp Ground. There will be busses ready to leave the church at 9:00 o'clock Sunday morning to convey anyone to the conference for the closing session and the message of the new bishop, Bishop Fred Dennis.
Masses Lena and Josephine Hanning were in Huntingburg Tuesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Reinke and family and Mrs. George Reinke accompanied Mrs. Josephine Bockstahler to her home in London, Ohio to spend the week end.
Prayer meeting Wednesday evening. The Ladies Aid will meet Thursday afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. Omer Heilman and son Gene Otto and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Heilman attended the Whitten reunion held at the home of Mrs. Maude Kemper near Holland Sunday.

We are in receipt of a nice postal card from Dr. and Mrs. J. H. Barrow, who are vacationing in Canada for a few weeks. They report that they are halving a swell time and that the weather is really cool and nice.
Wesley Ludwig of Buffaloville called on Clarence Sunday morning.
Barbara Ann, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Diurward Barnett, fell Friday and broke her arm. The fracture was set at the Stork's Hospital in Huntingburg.
Mr. and Mrs. Albert Bockstahler and family and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Guth were in Rockport Thursday on business.
Rev. and Mrs. O. A. Beanblossom and daughters attended the Eckert family reunion at Corydon Sunday. This reunion comprises the families related to Mrs. Beanblossom.
Clifford Chandley spent the first of the week in Evansville with his father.
