Mr. Clarence Kaetzel and sons Warren, Calvin, and Laurence were at Rockport Thursday.
4-H CLUB MEMBERS TO ATTEND 4-H CLUB ROUND-UP
will chaperone the girls and the boys will be in charge of Vocational Agriculture teachers, Cooper, Anderson, Traw, and Lynch.
Twenty-five 4-H club members from Spencer County will attend the annual State 4-H Club Round-Up at Purdue University next Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, June 9, 10, and 11th.
Clarence Kaetzel and sons were at Ferdinand Thursday.
BETTER BAKERS 4-H CLUB
Mrs. Chris Kaetzel and grand daughter Sue spent last week in Evansville with her children.
The Better Bakers 4-H Club met at the Dale School building at 1:30 P. M. Friday, 23, 1941 under the direction of Mrs. George Linhardt. Muffins were baked by Mary H. Lubbehusen, and Mary Lou Walters. A plain loaf cake was baked by Gay Weller. The muffins and the cake with cold drinks were served to the leaders and the fifteen members present. The next meeting well be held at the Dale School building Friday, June 13, 1941, at 1:30 P. M. All members are urged to be present. Gay Weller, News Reporter
These 4-H members are members of 4-H judging teams, health contestant, or delegates from the county. The Girls attended the Round-up. as delegates are: Ellen Claire Swallow, Rockport; Mildred Bender, Jackson Township; Jeanetta Freshley, Silverdale; Jo Nell Kramer, Chrisney; Georgis Lee Griepenstroh, Lamar; Mary Lou Linhardt, Dale; Ardella Daunhauer, Mariah Hill.
Mr. and Mrs. Roy Reke and children and Mrs. Sarah Roell of Evansville were in the neighborhood Saturday.
Rev. and Mrs. Kerr were at Gentryville Thursday evening.
Charlie Hanning and family was at Troy Thursday.
Health Contestants from the county participating in the State contest are Jean Shrode of Grandview Club and Albert Lindsey of Luce Township.
Mr. and Mrs. Dan Roell spent Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Roell.
The Following judging teams, who will also compete in the Round-Up are:
Jesse, Ruth, and Louis Kaetzel, Chester Hicks and Mr. Kelly of Evansville visited Mr. and Mrs. Chris Kaetzel over the week end.

Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Fahr and children Jerry and Linda Sue of Frankfort spent several days with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Fahr.

LIVESTOCK JUDGING CONTEST Paul Hernmer, Leander Tempel, Robert Meyer, and Denver Bradbury, all from Carter Township.
Gilbert Fahr of Frankfort visited his brother Alfred Fahr and family.
Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Fahr and son Harold and grandson Billie spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Fahr of English. Their grand daughter Jean returned home with them for a few weeks visit.
