The plasterers are now at work on the new residence of Dan Klncaid, three miies east of town, on the site of the one burned there some three or four weeks ago.

Last Monday while excavating in the rear of the business block of ra Booher & Son, preparatory to building a 10x40 addition to the same, the workman dug too near the foundation, causing the whole rear wall to give way and fall with a crash, barely missing a team of horses and wagon. The shovelers got a move on themselves that they had not had since the work began. Jack Beachem, the harnessmaker, was at work on the inside and had a close call, but escaped without taking the time to even say his prayers.
