Sarah Finch and Clara Edwards spent the week in Lebanon. Samuel Galey had two horses killed by lightning last Monday.

Several from here contemplate going to Louisville, Ky., next Sunday. Barbara Moran is at home this week at the bedside of her sick mother.

Ida Galloway and Julia Armstrong spent Monday at Warner Galey's. There will be an ice cream supper at Maoe hall to-morrow (Saturday) night, Aug. 31, for the benefit of the Christian church.

Miss Lilian Reeder was married Wednesday night to Mr. JohnShipman at the bride's home at 8 o'clock. Mr. and Mrs. Shipman were the recipients of several nice presents.
