Alon/.o Zonk ntid Wife Awake Monday Morning to Tlieir liaby Dead.

Alonzo Zook and wife live out on Lafayette avenue and three months asfii a daughter was born to them. The child seemed strong and healthy' arid occasioned them but little trouble. It, grew as other childen grow and Sunday was to all appearances perfectly well. It laughed and crowed and was quite sprightly throughout the day. The babe slept in the same bed with its parents, who retired at, the usual hour, the baby going to slepp almost immediately. When Mrs. Zook awoke Monday her first thought was natually of her child and turning over to where it lay she was horrified to find it dead. It was quite cold and 1 had evidently been dead several hours.' A doctor was summoned but, of course, was unable to be of service. The funeral of the little one occurred Tuesday.

These good people have been studying the subject of digestion for more than a hundred years, and that they understand it pretty thoroughly, is evidenced in the foregoing fact. THE market is full of cough mixtures, but one trouble with most of them is that when they do a little good the patient has to take so much that he ge.ts to loathe the taste. The Pineola Balsam is superior to other cougli remedies because it is agreeable to the yalate and its good effects are immediate. In a few days an ordinary cough is gone altogether Bronchitis and asthma are more stubborn, but they too are cured by Ely's Piueola Balsam. A remedy worth trying. Twenty-five cents is all it coats.
