Well, what do you think of this? That one Democrat in the community says that he wishes there were not a woolen mill in the United States. Who ever heard a Republican say such a thing? We admit that reform is needed, but not tariff reform.

The Democrats predict better times for next month. We hope that it may be true, but it may be like the $1.25 wheat. The price has oeen reformed a little and later on they will reform the rest when they get a little more time. We hope we will have the quarter left for seed.

George Deer, son of Joseph and Mary Deer, was on Wednesday married to Miss Ida Litsey, whose parents reside near Jackyille, in Fountain county. The contracting parties are of highly respected families and we extend our best wishes to them in their path of life.

The gravel roads area nice thing to have and we notice that most everybody pulls for them, especially when the roads become a little muddy. It would look a little better and more right tor all concerned to help make them. Now if you want good roads at your place of travel you should help make themj Come now and lend a helping hand and be neighborly.

Why

Why is Strictly Pure White Lead the best paint Because it

will outlast all other paints, gfive a handsomer finish, better protection to the wood, and the first cost will be less.

If Barytes and other adulterants of white lead are just as good" as Strictly Pure White Lead, why are all the adulterated white leads always branded Pure, or

Strictly Pure

White Lead?" This Barytes is a heavy white powder (ground stone), having the appearance of white lead, worthless as a paint, costing only about a cent a pound, and is only used to cheapen the mixture. What shoddy is to cloth, Barytes is to paint. Be careful to use only old and standard brands of white lead. "Armstrong & McKelvy" "Beymer-Bauman" "Eckstein" "Fahnestock" "Anchor" "Kentucky" "Morley" "Southern" "Shipman" "Red Seal" "Collier" "Davis-Chambers" are strictly pure," Old Dutch process brands, established by a lifetime of use.

For colors use National Lead Co.'s Pure White Lead Tinting Colors with Strictly Pure White Lead.

For sale by the most reliable dealers in paints everywhere. If you are going to paint, it will pay you to send to us for a book containing information that may save you many a dollar it will only cost you a postal card to do so.
