», orld's Fnlr Buildings.

Architects all over the United States are exhausting their ingenuity in efforts to suggest appropriate designs for tho buildings which will represent their respective states at the \yorld'tj CQlvjmbiau exposition. Among the buildings recently contracted for at Chicago are those of Missouri, Massachusetts and Ohio.

wfl'Ts

THE MISSOURI BUILDING.

The Missouri building will bo of the Spanish renaissance style. Tho first floor will bo given up to administration parlors and offices and the rooms of the advertising bureau. There will also be telephone, telegraph and postoffice. A large auditorium, with reception rooms for ladies and gentlemen, will occupy tho rest of the first floor. Nothing but Missouri material will be used in the construction of the building.

THE MASSACHUSETTS BUILDING. The Massachusetts building will be an exact facsimile of the old Colonial home of John Hancock. Tho cost will be about $G5.U00. One feature of this building will be a room devoted to historical relics, of which the valuable collection of the Essex institute, of Salem, will form a part. The style throughout this building, including the finishing, ill bo old Colonial.

THE OHIO BUILDING.

A particularly characteristic building will be that of Ohio. It will be north of the Wisconsin building, west of the art galleries, and will face south. It will be 100 by 80 feet. It will be in old Colonial style, and will be one of the most attractive, though-by no means one of the largest, state buildings on the exposition grounds. The special feature of this structure will be tho roof, which is to be covered with tin manufactured in the Piqua (O.) factory, where Governor McKinley helped make the first plates during tho campaign of 1891.

Among the thousands of testimonials of cures by Dr. Miles's New Heart Cure, is that of Nathan Allisons, a well known citizen at Glen Rock, Pa., who for years had shortness of breath, sleeplessness, pain in left side, shoulders, smothering spells, stc. one bottle of Dr. Miles' New Heart Cure and one box of Nerve and Liver Pills, cured him. Peter Jaquet, Salem, N. J., is another witness. For twenty years suffered with Hea. Disease, was turned away by physician^ as ncurable, death stared him in the face, could not lay down for fear of smothering to death. Immediately after using New Cure he felt better and could lay down and sleep all night, and is now a well man. The New Cure i« sold, also free book, by Nye & Co. 4

Saturday night last three young men representing the towns of Crawfordsville, Ladoga and Garfield combined to run this little town. Our marshal kindly invited them to go home to their mothers, but they would not even after he had got them in their buggy. As a last resort he took hold of one in the buggy by the collar and invited him out. The driver, too smart for that, struck the horse with the whip but forgetting to touch up the marshal at the same time the marshal simply stood still and out came Garfielci, his face striking the wheel and almost severing his nose from his face. But under the skillful hands of Dr. Dunnington he will be able to appear before his honor, Esq. Armstrong In a few days. Boys remember that when you fool with our little marshal you fool with a buzz saw.
