Stolen Horse Hecovered.

The horse that was stolen from Stick10J lirothers'livery stable Sunday July 15, was located by Detective Kittenhou.se 011 Thuisday, ut Crawfordsville, Indiana, whore tho thief had placed tin a stable and then decamped. Tho horse in question wan left by the thiuf at Walters'stable, anil ho lied the town. He had probably only borrowed It for a ride, and when his journey was completed hu had no further use for it.

The scene was a very pretty one when totality was reached, the moon presenting the appearance of a huge ball of copper. At 10:.VJ the eclipse was total. The totality ended at U: iO and the shadow slowly floated off to the west, leaving bright rim or crescent of light upon the eastern side of tho orb. The moon left the shadow at 1:H and at '*:'M passed completelyjout of tho penumbra, and left a position in the heavens not lo be readied by iier again until eighteen years and three days have passed by. The next total eclipse of the moon will occur January 31, l'JOC, ami will be followed by another on July 25, of tlie same year.
