On motion of Mr. Price the Street Commissioner was directed to make a detailed report of the number of persons who have performed their two day's labor or paid commutation on the same, together with a statement of the manner and location in which money drawn trom the city treasury has been spent.

On motion of Mr. Vanarsdall the Committee on Schools and Public Buildings was directed to procure $10,000 additional insurance on the city school building.

Resolutions were introduced and adopted providing for the construction of a brick sidewalk in front of Lot No. 1 on Water street, and also for the building of the remaining sidewalks ordered on Washington street.
